Nicholas III, wearing triple-crowned papal tiara, eight horns or flames flanking his head, seated on bench, holds sack with knotted (?) cord with his right hand and with his left hand, three stalks of wheat. At left, bear stands on hind legs, extending front legs to the sack. At right, dove eats from one of the stalks of wheat, and below, winged dragon opens mouth at end of the stalks.
Figures enclosed in frame of quatrefoil decorated with foliate ornament.
