Miniature:
Apocalypse: Christ and Candlesticks -- Christ, sword in His mouth, raising right hand, holding open book facing outward with left hand is seated on throne. Lamb sits at His feet, breast on open book from which hang seven seals. Six stars are next to His right hand; the throne is surrounded by seven candlesticks and seven lamps. All are amid rays in mandorla. Flanking the mandorla are angel blowing trumpet and black bird (crow ?) inscribed VE VE VE (Apocalypse: Cry of Three Woes). Below is crowd of saints holding palms, some only tops of heads visible.Virgin Mary: Type, Apocalyptic Woman -- In right margin Virgin Mary, holding nude Christ Child with both hands, stands on crescent in rayed mandorla.
