Francis of Assisi: receiving Stigmata -- Francis of Assisi, nimbed and tonsured, wearing habit of Franciscan, kneels, orant. He looks up toward nude Christ, crossed nimbus, amid eight red wings, red rays descending from His wounds, to hands, feet and right side of Francis. At right is church; another monk, probably Leo of Assisi, wearing hood and habit of Franciscan, sits, leaning against the church, reading book.
