Christ: of Sorrows -- Half figure of Christ, crossed nimbus, eyes shut, head inclined, displaying wounds in side in hands, on cloud (?) above opening of sarcophagus. Surrounding Him, Instruments of Passion including column on top of which is rooster (cock), scourge, drill, crown of thorns, spear, hand, cross with titulus INRI, ladder, pincers, sponge on long handle, nails, head, withes, garment, bucket, lantern, dice, burial cloth spotted with blood, coins.
Margins decorated with border of floreate ornament including thistle, and with escutcheon with heraldry incorporating the arms of the Seigneur de Lannoy (argent, three lions vert crowned or).
