Virgin Mary and Christ Child: Type, Suckling -- Virgin Mary, emanating rays, crowned, with right breast bared, sits before turf bench and holds in her lap nude infant Christ Child, nimbed, nursing (suckling), all in mandorla.
Miniature enclosed in fluted frame with quatrefoils at corners, within an outer frame of decorated bands, with ivy-rinceaux ornament extending into margins.
