Christ: Crucifixion -- Christ, cross-nimbed, crowned with thorns, head inclined, in loin cloth, blood flowing from His hands, feet, head, and side, is affixed with three nails to tau-cross with titulus, inscribed INRI. He is flanked by two thieves, with arms bound over tau-crosses, the right thief has head down.
At left, Virgin Mary, veiled, nimbed, kneeling, holds draped hand to face. Behind her is Evangelist John, nimbed, and Holy Woman, nimbed and veiled, with back turned. Below Christ, Mary Magdalen, nimbed, kneels and embraces cross.
At right are two men, wearing hats, one with right hand raised.
Scene in landscape setting, with figures and horse on road in distance.
Margin is decorated with floreate border. In lower margin is escutcheon decorated with heraldic device (gules a chief or).
