Scene, Liturgical: Celebration of Mass -- Priest, tonsured, wearing chasuble and alb, extends right hand toward collection sack or plate with pole, in which are coins, the pole held by man wearing short tunic. The priest stands before draped (?) altar on which are two candlesticks, paten, chalice with burse and lectern on which is open book.
At back of the altar is retable with three panels. In center panel are Virgin Mary, nimbed and crowned, holding nude (?) Christ Child, crossed nimbus. They are flanked by Anthony Abbot the Great, holding book with right hand, possibly standing amid flames, with pig at his feet, and by male figure, wearing hat, holding chalice (?) with right hand and book with left hand.
The retable is surmounted by trefoil arch decorated with crockets and by crucifix with titulus INRI. Christ, crossed nimbus, head inclined, wearing short loincloth is affixed to the cross with three nails.
