Scene, Liturgical: Obsequies -- Three acolytes, including two holding candles and one holding situla, stand beside bishop, wearing miter and vestments, holding open book in left hand and aspergil in raised right hand, with which he blesses body of monk, tonsured, wearing vestments, laying on covered pall with head on pillow. Behind the bishop stand tonsured monks or priests, and beside the body are two hooded mourners. Scene in decorated initial C.
Left margins with foliate ornament, with birds.
Musical notation of four-line red staves with square notes.
