Diagram of Tree of Consanguinity is superimposed on body of bearded male figure. He holds a pot in each hand, containing sprays of foliate ornament forming two columns of three roundels on each side. The upper two roundels contain busts of crowned figures. The middle roundels contain busts of tonsured clerics. The lower two roundels contain birds.
Figure on background decorated with foliate ornament. Lower border of miniature contains pseudo-inscriptions, suggesting Kufic script. Miniature, surmounted by urn with foliate ornament, is framed by text.
Decorated initial C begins text describing Tree of Consanguinity.
