Virgin Mary, nimbed, is seated, holding with right hand nude Christ Child, crossed nimbus, extending His right hand toward sword held by Catherine of Alexandria, nimbed and crowned, broken wheel on ground before her. At right Barbara of Nicomedia, nimbed, holds tower on draped right hand, touching the tower with left hand. Behind both saints stand two or three figures, nimbed, three only nimbi visible.
Red background with gold foliate ornament.
Margins decorated with floreate border including acorns, and inhabited by bird.
