Margins with five vignettes (described top to bottom):
1) Christ: Circumcision -- Virgin Mary, seated, holds in her lap nude infant Christ Child. Before them kneels mohel, wearing vestments (?), with hands extended to the Christ Child. Three figures witness scene.
2) Magi: Adoration -- Two magi, including one removing crown and the other wearing crown, are beside third magus, holding vessel, kneeling before nude infant Christ Child, seated on lap of Virgin Mary.
3) Paul the Hermit (?), holding objects, possibly including loaf, stands in landscape.
4) Maurus of Glanfeuil (?), wearing habit (?).
5) Month, Occupation: January -- Man, wearing hood, holding bowl to his mouth with right hand, sits behind draped table upon which are plate and loaf. Before the table is servant, holding plate.
