Scene, Liturgical: Ordination of Acolyte -- Tonsured acolytes, wearing hooded robes, kneel with joined hands raised before Bishop, wearing miter and cope, holding right thumb to forehead of one of the acolytes. Standing behind him and holding his cope is another acolyte, possibly tonsured, wearing hooded robe, holding cross-staff (?) in right hand. Scene in interior, with wall hangings with pseudo-inscription, leaded-glass windows, and statues in wall niches.
Margins with vinescroll and floreate ornament, inhabited by birds. In lower margin is escutcheon with arms of Giles of Luxembourg, surmounted by a crozier.
