Christ: among Doctors -- Within building, below three arches, youthful Christ, cross-nimbed, is seated on draped throne on dais. He is flanked above by busts of two angels, nimbed, and two angels, nimbed, flying, arms crossed on breast, and below by Pope, wearing papal tiara, and king, both with head bowed and arms crossed at breast, and by large group of men, seated in smaller groups on benches, many looking at open books, one showing book to Christ, one gesturing with right arm extended toward Christ. On panel below, name BONIFACIUS is inscribed, each letter containing either bust of man, including possibly bishop, clergy, or head of man with pointed or round ears.
