In draped architectural setting, Hovannes of Armenia, wearing bishop’s vestments decorated with fleur-de-lis, left hand raised, right hand extended toward Oshin of Armenia kneeling, left hand raised, right hand grasping right arm of one of two sons, including Kostandin, Son of Oshin, and Hethoum, Son of Oshin, both kneeling with hands raised toward Christ Child, decorated crossed nimbus, right hand extended, seated on lap of Virgin Mary, pearled nimbus, veiled, right hand extending mantle (Virgin Mary: Misericordia), seated on cushioned bench.
