In center medallion:
Cross -- Cross, with titulus inscribed INRI, upon which is superimposed Sacred Heart, with four wounds. Each arm of the cross has an inscribed scroll. The scrolls are inscribed MINNE; GR[OO]TMOEDICH[EIT]; GEDULDICH[EIT]; and GEHOORSA[A]M[HEIT]. In background are objects, possibly Instruments of the Passion. Medallion enclosed in frame inscribed O HET LAET MYN SIEL DI INDEN CRUCE OMEHELSEN ENN VERHENGER HAER EEN LUTTEL TE SCEPPEN VAN DINEN BLODE (sic). Flanking the medallion are four cross-surmounted (?) globes.
Above medallion is inscribed IHESUS, and below is inscribed MARIA, both amid pen flourishing, and enclosed by frame. Margins with pen flourishing and foliate ornament.
