In initial D, Virgin Mary, nimbed and veiled, holds nude Christ Child, crossed nimbus.
Margins decorated with border of floreate ornament including garlands and flowers in vases. In right margin, roundel enclosing man, probably prophet holding scroll with pseudo-inscription. In lower margin, two winged putti flanking roundel enclosing wreath and heraldic escutcheon (possibly or, eagle displayed vert).
