Christ: Crucifixion, nailed to Cross -- Christ, rays as nimbus, wearing short loincloth, is on cross. Executioner, raising hammer with right hand, holds nail with left hand at right hand of Christ, at His left hand, two other executioners raise hammer or crouch over Him. To left, Virgin Mary, wearing veil with wimple, with hands extended, is possibly swooning, her body partly supported from behind by Evangelist John and possibly Holy Woman.
In foreground, group of at least five men and women, most wearing hats or headgear, one man seated and the other holding halberd in left hand.
In background right, group of horsemen, many wearing hats, hoods or armor, and some holding halberds. More bystanders in further distance.
