Virgin Mary: Annunciation -- Archangel Gabriel, nimbed, raising right hand, holding scepter with left hand, stands next to prie-dieu on which is open book. Virgin Mary, nimbed and veiled, with joined hands, kneels behind the prie-dieu, looking toward Gabriel. Amid rays descending from upper left toward Mary, dove of Holy Ghost, nimbed, hovers in gold mandorla.
Miniature enclosed within frame; scene in circular room decorated with architectural ornament.
