Month, Occupation: January -- In upper right margin, man, wearing hat over hood, holding loaf with right hand and object in left hand is at draped table on which is loaf. Hooded fireplace is behind him. Servant, wearing hat, dagger hanging at back, carrying platter on which is bird (?), approaches the table. All in room with wooden ceiling. Zodiac Sign: Aquarius -- In lower right margin, nude man holding vessel with both hands, pours water into stream. He stands on bank, with landscape and buildings in distance. Margins decorated on three sides with border of floreate ornament including daisy, viola and strawberry.
