Month, Occupation: January -- Two faced Janus, wearing headgear, lifts cup with right hand to right face, and rests left hand on table on which are cup and loaves (?). He is seated, flanked by two men wearing headgear, seated on benches, one, at left, extending arms, touching plate held by servant kneeling on one knee beside table. Scene in vaulted architectural setting flanked by two statues on top of slender columns; on roof pinnacles surmounted by crosses.
Margins decorated with border of foliate and floreate ornament, including pink and strawberry.
