Psalm 001 (Vulg., 001):
David: as Musician -- David, crowned, seated with legs crossed on bench, plays harp.
Figure against gold background within foliate initial B.
Upper margin:
Hybrid archer with body of wingless dragon shoots arrow at bird perched on gothic tower.
Right margin:
1) Christopher of Lycia: carrying Christ Child -- Christopher of Lycia, with staff in right hand, stands in water. On shoulders, he carries Christ Child, cross-nimbed, with right hand raised in blessing.
2) Catherine of Alexandria, nimbed, crowned, stands with wheel in right hand and sword in left hand.
3) Female saint, possibly Agnes of Rome, decorated nimbus, stands with palm in left hand; lamb is at her feet.
Figures in right margin within architectural setting of gothic tower supported by hybrid man attached to foliate bar in lower margin.
