Legend, Argonauts: Aeson asking Pelias to be Regent for Jason -- Aeson, crowned, seated on throne with animal armrests, with right hand indicates raised left hand. Before him stands Jason, as youth. Flanking Aeson are Pelias, with right hand on his breast and holding hat in left hand; three other men, including one holding hat; and man, wearing hat and robes, gesturing.
