In lower margin, flanking arms of François de Baraton, monkey, with left paw on breast, sits side-saddle on hybrid animal, wearing bridle; to right, soldier, wearing helmet, with sword sheathed at waist, aims bow and arrow upward toward man, wearing conical hat, with sword raised in right hand, flanked by two fantastic animals, in right margin.
Margins decorated with floreate ornament; outer margins of blue, with pattern of stars and the letter S.
