Evangelist, John: Scene, on Patmos -- Evangelist symbol (eagle) with wings outstretched, looks back toward Evangelist John, nimbed, writing with quill in right hand on scroll held on right knee with left hand. He is seated on turf topped section of ruined building, his right foot resting on stone. Inkpot (?) is on ground at right.
