Miniature in two parts:
1) David: slinging at Goliath -- Goliath, wearing helmet and armor, holding spear in right hand and shield, decorated with rampant dragon (?), in left hand, stands beside David, as youth, holding sling in left hand and stone in right hand. Diapered background.
2) David: as Musician -- David, crowned, seated on throne, plays harp held in his lap. Diapered background.
Margins with ivy-rinceaux ornament.
