Trinity: Mercy Seat -- Nimbed God, seated on cushioned throne from behind supports arms of tau-cross on which Christ is affixed by three nails, His head inclined, wearing crown of thorns and transparent loin cloth, bleeding from wounds in head, side and hands; dove descending to His head. Scene against patterned background. Borders decorated with foliate and ivy-leaf ornament. Miniature for beginning of the Hours of the Trinity.
