Job: with Wife and Job: with Friends Three (?) -- Job, name inscribed IOB, nude body partially draped and covered with sores is seated on mound with back against brick wall, looking up at wife, wearing hat, standing next to him. At left two men wearing hats, walk away, looking back over left shoulders, gesturing back with left hands.
Initial I superimposed over scene. All enclosed in frame decorated with foliate ornament.Joseph: cast into Pit -- Joseph, right hand grasping side of well, left hand grasping rope, is lowered into well by two brethren, one wearing hat, holding ropes, standing on either side of the well. Several men, some wearing hats, look on.
