Scene, Liturgical: Obsequies -- In center, bier draped with cross inscribed, decorated pall, and surrounded with four candlesticks. In front of the bier, are woman as mourner, veiled with wimple (white), her hands hidden in sleeves, three (?) other mourners, and man wearing black hat and pink tunic, looking at open book held with both (?) hands. Behind the bier are three clerics, tonsured, standing at lectern and looking at open book on the lectern. At left is draped altar with side curtains and with retable decorated with crucifix flanked by two figures (Christ: Crucifixion).
Scene in cutaway interior on grassy foreground with red background decorated with gold vine scroll.
Margins decorated with border of floreate ornament and with escutcheon decorated with heraldry incorporating the arms of the Seigneur de Lannoy (argent, three lions vert crowned or).
