Christ: Last Judgment -- Christ, cross-nimbed, nude body partly covered by mantle, bleeding from wounds in hands, side, and feet, with right hand raised in blessing and with left hand extended, and seated on arc, above tripartite globe. He is flanked above by two angels, nimbi as rays, blowing horns; eight half figures or heads emerge from graves, including pope, wearing triple-crowned papal tiara; bishop, wearing miter; cardinal, wearing cardinal’s hat; and crowned king; some with joined hands raised, one shielding face. Scene against decorated filigree background. Margins decorated with foliate and floreate ornament. Miniature at beginning of the Seven Penitential Psalms.
