Christ: Crucifixion -- Christ, nimbed, head inclined, eyes shut, bleeding from wounds, wearing short loincloth, is affixed with three nails to cross with titulus INRI. He is flanked above by sun and moon. At left are three Holy Women, nimbed, one wearing turban type of headdress, one wearing wimpled veil, two with joined hands. Evangelist John, nimbed is behind swooning Virgin Mary, nimbed, veiled, and with wimple. At right are Longinus of Jerusalem raising right hand, looking toward soldier, wearing helmet, armor monogrammed with letters A and V joined by knot, and holding shield. Behind them are another man wearing turban type of headgear and soldiers.
