Christ: Presentation -- Anna the Prophetess (?), holding basket with doves and lighted candle, kneels behind Virgin Mary, nimbed, kneeling with draped hands extended toward draped altar. Simeon of Jerusalem stands behind the altar and holds in draped hands nude infant Christ Child, with crossed nimbus, with arms extended toward the Virgin Mary. Scene in interior of temple, with leaded-glass windows, carved stone, and brocade wall hanging.
Margins with floreate and scroll ornament, inhabited in right margin by two fantastic animals, standing on hind legs and embracing, and balancing bowl of eggs between them on their heads; and in lower margin, fantastic man, wearing pointed helmet, with shield on left arm, raises club and right hand and balances on back of goose.
