Virgin Mary: giving Girdle to Thomas -- Virgin Mary, nimbed, emanating rays, in mandorla, holds in lap girdle, with end of girdle extended to Thomas, nimbed, kneeling on one knee on ground below her. Beside Thomas is open sarcophagus full of roses (?). Scene in landscape with rocks and trees, all within initial D decorated with foliate ornament.
Margins decorated with foliate ornament, including viola, thistle, columbine and rose.
