Christ: Presentation -- Before altar, Virgin Mary, rays as nimbus, veiled, holds extended with both hands, nude Christ Child, rays as cross nimbus; High Priest Simeon, nimbed, arms extended toward Christ Child, stands on other side of the altar. Behind Virgin Mary are Joseph the Carpenter, nimbed, holding cage with two doves, and prophetess Anna, nimbed, wearing headdress, holding candle with left hand. Behind Simeon is another man, wearing headgear, raising left hand. Scene in church with apse visible in background.
Margins decorated with border of floreate and foliate ornament including acorn, viola, strawberry, sweet pea, and thistle, and inhabited by fly.
