Pentecost -- Beneath flying dove of Holy Ghost issuing from rays in window, Virgin Mary, sits with left hand raised and with right hand on open book with pseudo-inscriptions on lap, surrounded by thirteen apostles, including possibly Apostle James, holding book, and Apostle Peter, tonsured, seated on ground, reading from open book, all with nimbi with rays (seven with only nimbi visible). Scene in room with tiled floor. Margin, lower: At left, hybrid man with body of peacock and at right is siren. Margins decorated with foliate and floreate ornament, including cornflowers and columbines. Text is from antiphon for Lauds on Pentecost Sunday.
