Decaying corpse (skeleton), with hanging flesh, wearing gold necklace, holding shroud, stands in sarcophagus before ornamented stone wall. Behind the wall are trees. Above figure is scroll inscribed MEMENTO HOMO. (Memento mori).
Margins with foliate and vinescroll ornament inhabited by hybrid man and male (?) figure, with arms held out to sides.
