Christ: Flight into Egypt, Miracle of Cornfield -- Joseph the Carpenter, carrying bundle on rod over right shoulder, with left hand holds reins of ass on which sits Virgin Mary, nimbed, veiled, holding swaddled infant Christ Child, with crossed nimbus. Behind the ass walks maidservant, veiled, balancing basket on her head with right hand and holding a second basket in her left hand. In backgroud, soldier, holding spear, gestures to husbandman, wearing hat, both standing beside cornfield. Scene in landscape with trees, house, distant city, and rays of sun above.
Margins with floreate and vinescroll ornament, inhabited by fantastic animal with beak.
