Christ: Crucifixion -- Christ, crossed nimbus with crown of thorns, wearing short loincloth, is affixed with three nails to cross with titulus INRI. Skull is at base of cross. Virgin Mary, nimbed and veiled, with joined hands raised stands at left. At right, Evangelist John, nimbed, extending right hand downward, grasping mantle with left hand, is at right.
Margins decorated with gold vine scroll and foliate ornament, some emerging from vases.
