Two scenes within miniature:
1) Nazarius of Milan: destroying Idols -- Within architectural setting, three men, including one with dagger in belt, stand beside Nazarius of Milan and Celsus of Milan, both nimbed. They kneel before falling idols on platform surmounting two columns.
Beside Celsus is dog.
2) Nazarius of Milan: Martyrdom -- Outside of architectural setting, within landscape, two men, including one with dagger in belt, look on as Celsus, fallen to ground, beheaded, nimbed head on ground, and Nazarius, nimbed, blindfolded, (both figures represented twice) are beheaded by executioner with sword.
