1) Dioscorus of Thebaid: Scene, giving Communion -- Dioscorus of Thebaid, nimbed, tonsured, wearing monk’s habit, with draped left hand holding paten laden with hosts, and with right hand extended over kneeling monks, tonsured, wearing monk’s habits, one standing, wearing hood, raising right hand to mouth.
2) Jerome: Scene, meeting Monks of Nitria -- At right, group of tonsured monks, wearing monk’s habits, the foremost two holding round loaves and one extending cup toward Jerome, wearing hooded monk’s habit, with sack slung over right shoulder, accompanied by group of tonsured monks, wearing monk’s habits, all before two buildings, including one cross-surmounted monastery.
