1) Christ: mocked -- In initial D decorated with geometric ornament and diapered backgrounds, Christ, cross-nimbed, sits on a bench and raises His left hand toward His breast. He is flanked by four men, including one kneeling, raising his left hand, another raising his right hand, the third grasping Christ's head, and the fourth pointing to Him.
2) Margins - Rectilinear bars decorated with interlace and foliage, enclosing five French heraldic shields, including Count of Soissons (two), Hangest (one), and Moreuil (one), and inhabited by a man blowing a horn and holding a crooked staff, two dogs pursuing a boar, five birds, lion, and a hybrid animal entwined with hybrid bird.
