Divina Commedia, Purgatorio: Scene, Dante immersed in Lethe -- Four handmaids (Personification of Virtues ?), wearing wreaths of flowers, stand behind Dante, wearing hat, gesturing to Beatrice. Beatrice, with right hand raised, stands beside griffin pulling chariot. Behind the chariot stand personfications of Faith, Hope, and Charity, all wearing wreaths of flowers. Scene in Garden of Eden with flowering plants and trees.
