Two scenes within miniature:
1) Abdon of Rome and Sennen of Rome: refusing to worship Idol -- Within architectural setting decorated with statuettes surmounting columns, Abdon of Rome and Sennen of Rome, nimbed, refuse to worship idols surmounting columns. One saint raises hands towards idols. The other saint is grasped by soldier, wearing armor, facing three men, wearing hats.
2) Abdon of Rome and Sennen of Rome: Martyrdom -- Outside of architectural setting, within landscape, three soldiers, wearing armor, pierce Abdon and Sennen (represented twice), nimbed, with spears. Behind them is idol, holding globe and spear, surmounting column.
