De Consolatione Philosophiae: Scene, Boethius led by Wisdom to Throne of God -- Within architectural setting, God, cross-nimbed, emitting rays, with right hand raised in blessing and with left hand resting on globe on lap, is seated on throne, flanked by three pairs of angels.
At left, female personification of Wisdom, crowned, with right hand grasping left hand of Boethius, wearing cap, with right hand raised, enter through arched portal. At right, female personification of Fate, wearing headband, with hands lowered toward broken wheel in which are twisted bodies of three men and one crowned king.
