Divina Commedia, Purgatorio: Scene, Earthly Paradise -- Statius of Naples stands behind Dante, wearing hat, and Matilda. Before them stand personifications of Faith, Hope, and Charity; Beatrice, with right hand raised; and personifications of Temperance, Justice, Prudence, and Fortitude.
