Christ: Entombment -- Joseph of Arimathea, wearing a cap, holds an open jar in his left hand and with a vessel in his right hand anoints the partly shrouded body of Christ, crossed pearled nimbus. His body is lowered into sarcophagus by Nicodemus, wearing kerchief, and man, wearing a hat. Virgin Mary and a Holy Woman, wearing veils, flank them. Scene within Gothic architectural frame decorated with cusps of foliate terminals, and six French heraldic shields, including Moreuil (three), Coeuvres (two) and Hangest (one), in medallions, and heraldic devices, including Moreuil.
