Trinity: God, Christ of Sorrows and Dove -- God, nimbed, wearing triple-crowned tiara, is seated beneath dome, against background of fleur-des-lis. He holds under the arms, Christ, crossed nimbus, wearing crown of thorns and short loin cloth, bleeding from wounds, feet resting on tripartite globe. Dove of Holy Ghost, wings spread, hovers between them near right shoulder of Christ. All are flanked by curtains pulled back by two angels, one also holding column, the other holding cross (Instruments of Passion).
Margins decorated with border of floreate ornament inhabited by hybrid man wearing hat with joined hands raised; hybrid man holding animal horn or branch. Text and miniature framed on three sides by gold bars decorated with flowers on vines.
