Month, Occupation: November -- At left, woman, wearing headdress, seated is scutching flax. In front of her two men beat flax in a circle on the ground. All are in farm yard with half-timbered buildings with thatched roofs; pigs and chickens graze and peck. In background, visible through doorway another man raises flail with both hands. At right woman wearing hat and headdress pours from pot into trough, food for pig poking head through opening of building below dovecote on which are birds. In distance, another figures walks near large gate in wattle fence.
