Upper half: Joseph: Brethren before Joseph -- At left, of five men, one tending donkeys (ass) with sacks on back; one wearing hood, holding rod with right hand; one wearing hat and hood, raising right hand; one wearing hat with joined hands raised; the fifth, inscribed IACOB (sic), raising hat from head with left hand. All before Joseph, inscribed IOSEFF, holding vessel with left hand, standing in doorway of building. From chapter 44 of Genesis. Joseph: meeting Jacob at Goshen -- At right, men, including one wearing hat and two with purse at waist, and woman, veiled with wimple, surrounding Jacob, inscribed IACOB, embracing Joseph, inscribed IOSEFF. From chapter 46 of Genesis.
