Christ: in Gethsemane -- Of three apostles, decorated nimbi, eyes closed, seated, one holds book; Evangelist John, raises draped right hand to face, resting left hand on open book on lap; and the third leans against hill, hands crossed on breast. They are behind Christ, crossed nimbus, with joined hands raised, kneeling before chalice with wafer (host). He looks up toward God as half-figure, decorated nimbus, raising right hand in blessing, holding globe with left hand, within arc of Heaven.
Rectilinear frame enclosing text and miniature decorated with foliate, and vining floreate, ornament.
