Zone 1:
1) Joseph: sold to Ishmaelites -- Among three Ishmaelites, one, wearing pointed hat, stands behind two bridled camels led by second, wearing hat, following third giving moneybag to one of brethren holding right hand of Joseph, name inscribed IOSEPH.
Scene caption, inscribed HIE V(ER)COVFEN SI IOSEPH COVLIVTEN VON EGYPTEN.
Zone 2:
2) Jacob: shown Coat of Joseph -- One of three brethren, inscribed IACOBES SUNE, holds sheathed sword, another holds staff; both raise their right hands. The third holds in left hand scroll inscribed from Genesis 37:32, IST DIZ DINES SUNES ROC, and presents blood-stained coat to right hand of Jacob, bearded, seated on bench with footstool.
Scene caption, inscribed DO SPRACH ER WE MIR WE.
3) Jacob: mourning -- Woman, wearing headdress, possibly daughter of Jacob, clasps hands, and man, possibly son of Jacob, raises left hand toward face covered with right hand. Jacob not represented.
Scene caption, inscribed DIE WILTEN TIER HABEN MINEN SUN GEAZ.
Zone 3:
4) Joseph: sold to Potiphar -- Ishmaelite, wearing garment of skins, extends hands toward Joseph with left hand raised and right hand grasped by right hand of Potiphar with left hand on hilt of sword before open portal of building.
